Killing Me Softly...

With spotting. It started yesterday. My nurse said not to worry as long as it is brown. It is brown, but this is what I do every month for about 3 days before I start. I'm trying to remain positive, but all signs seems to be pointing towards period.

Please Lord, fulfill the desires of our heart with this IVF. Please let this be a healthy pregnancy and not a period.

I would demand my progesterone be checked. My last cycle ended horribly, due to the fact my progesterone support failed.

Hopefully you are just pg and spotting brown, and I dont' want to freak you out, just something I wish I had done myself.

Good luck and *sticky dust*

I agree with Dagny -- demand the p4be checked, just to ease your mind. But remember, brown can be very good, too. Wishing you the very, very best.

Oh...I do the same thing before my periods. I'm so hoping this is pregnancy spotting, and I'll be thinking of you tomorrow as you go to get your beta drawn. (hugs)

I know how worrisome and stressful this is . . . just try to hang on.

How about a positive anecdote: For all the take-home-baby IVFs among the FF friends I followed most closely, spotting occurred in almost all of them. (So much so that after our second tx I actually hoped to see it!) Spotting is more commonly seen in IVF pregnancies.

Hugs and healthy pg prayers and more hugs for you!

Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog babe, I might not be blogging myself but I'll still be reading and commenting on yours so I'm not gone.

Bug hugs, I'm praying that this is just some spotting and nothing like your period.

Our RE's office says the vast majority of IVF pregnancies have some spotting -- I know it's hard, but try and keep positive.
